What to Expect
Due to the time commitment of the first appointment, all new patients must confirm their
appointment by 4pm the business day prior. We will call you the business day before
and we must receive verbal confirmation. Confirmation is required for new patient
appointments. Once you schedule your new patient appointment, you will receive an
email with a link to create a log-in to fill out your paperwork. Fill this out prior to your
appointment. If your paperwork is completed ahead of time, arrive 10 minutes prior to
your appointment time. If you are unable to fill out your forms ahead of time, arrive 20
minutes early to complete them in our office. Please be on time for your appointment as
we strive to see patients right at their scheduled appointment time.
On your first visit, as an adult new patient, you will spend about 30 minutes with Dr.
Ryan. During this time, he will perform a consultation to learn more about your health
history and current health issues. You can discuss any questions or concerns you have
as well. He will then perform a full chiropractic examination. Upon completion of the
exam, he will determine if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. If Dr. Ryan
feels he can help you, he will perform a chiropractic adjustment on your first visit. Dr.
Ryan will create a report of findings to discuss with you at your second appointment. We
do not use treatment plans in our office. Dr. Ryan will review his findings from your initial
exam and adjustment and discuss his plan of action on what he thinks it will take to help
you reach your chiropractic health goals. Dr. Ryan may also give you exercises to
perform at home to better facilitate your adjustment.
On the first visit, for a child new patient, you will spend about 15 minutes with Dr. Ryan.
During this time, he will perform a consultation to learn more about your child’s health
history and current health issues. You can discuss any questions or concerns you have
as well. He will then perform a pediatric chiropractic examination. Upon completion of
the exam, he will determine if your child is a good candidate for chiropractic care. If Dr.
Ryan feels he can help your child, he will perform a chiropractic adjustment on their first
visit.

Financials + Insurance

We do not believe that insurance companies should dictate the care you receive. That is why our services are self-pay. We can provide you with a super-bill so that you can submit your claims to your insurance company for POSSIBLE reimbursement directly back to you. We are out-of-network and non-participating with all insurance companies. We do not bill third-party or private insurance companies. All payments are due when services are rendered.
We are not contracted with Medicare or any associated Medicare supplemental type of plans. Because of this, we do not accept any Medicare eligible patients.

No Surprises Act and Good Faith Estimates
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
This Good Faith Estimate shows the costs of services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. Please be advised your costs may change depending on the number of adjustments you actually come in for. Extra adjustments may be recommended based upon your healing progress; this will be charged the standard adjustment rate.
You can ask your healthcare, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-877-696-6775.
